Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle
The Ring of Kerry charity cycle takes on the first Saturday of July every year.
It is probably the highlight of Summer in Kerry, and Killarney, as it's base, is the only place to be that weekend. The cycle starts and finishes in Killarney and takes in some of the most stunning scenery that Ireland has to offer, along the way. It may be 180km on a bike but time flies and you will be swept along in a wave of adrenaline and fun. It can easily be forgotten amidst the training, the competition, the joy and achievment, but it is a charity cycle. This is what sets the 'Ring of Kerry' apart from other sportifs or races that take place throughout Ireland over the Summer season. To date, the Ring of Kerry charity cycle has raised over €15 million for more than 150 charities. It is a unique, uplifting and challenging event. The views, the camaraderie and interaction with the locals create a special atmosphere.
See you on the road...
